CHERRY CHEESE CRUNCH

  1. Mix cereal and margarine together. Reserve ⅔ cup of the mixture for topping.
  2. Press the remaining mixture into an ungreased 9x9x2-inch square pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese in a small mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the milk gradually until well blended, then stir in the lemon juice and vanilla.
  5. Pour the mixture over the cereal crust and sprinkle with the reserved cereal mixture.
  6. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours until firm. Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
