SAUCY MEATBALLS

Ingredients:

• 1 lb Ground Beef
• ⅔ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
• ½ cup Dry Bread Crumbs
• ⅓ cup Milk
• 1 Egg (beaten)
• 2 tbsp Shortening
• 1 tbsp Flour
• 1 can (28 oz) Tomatoes (cut into bite-sized pieces)
• ⅓ - ½ cup Heinz 57 Sauce
• 1 tbsp Sugar
• ½ tsp Salt
• Hot Buttered Noodles (for serving)

Instructions:

1. Combine ground beef, Parmesan, bread crumbs, milk, and egg.
2. Shape into 20 meatballs.
3. Brown the meatballs in shortening and drain the fat.
4. Sprinkle flour over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
5. Combine tomatoes, Heinz 57 sauce, sugar, and salt. Pour over meatballs.
6. Simmer uncovered for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
7. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
