CRANBERRY COCKTAIL

Instructions:

  1. Chop cranberries coarsely.
  2. In a large saucepan, boil water and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the chopped cranberries to the boiling syrup and continue to boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  5. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth into a pitcher.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
