ORANGE POCKETBOOK ROLLS

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Beat shortening, sugar, and eggs together.
  2. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and add to the egg mixture.
  3. Add flour and salt, and stir until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise until doubled in bulk.
  5. Roll out on a floured board and cut into 3 1/2-inch circles.
  6. Place an orange section on each circle, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, and fold over.
  7. Let rise again.
  8. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20 minutes.
