  1. The night before, mix sour cream and brown sugar and let stand overnight.
  2. The next day, beat the egg and add to the sour cream mixture.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the mixture and mix well.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 55 minutes.
