  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a 10x15-inch pan with waxed paper and grease it.
  2. Combine eggs and baking powder in a bowl. Place over a smaller bowl of hot water and beat with a rotary beater until thick.
  3. Gradually add sugar while still beating. Remove the bowl from hot water and fold in flour and vanilla.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for about 13 minutes.
  5. Quickly cut off crisp edges, invert onto a damp cloth, spread with jelly, and roll.
