SOUR CREAM DEVIL’S FOOD CAKE

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sift flour once, then add baking soda, baking powder, and salt and sift three more times.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and beat well.
  5. Stir in melted chocolate and blend.
  6. Combine sour cream and milk.
  7. Alternately add flour mixture and cream mixture to the batter.
  8. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
