DATE STICKS

Ingredients:

• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 cup chopped dates
• Pinch of salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 6 tablespoons flour

Instructions:

1. Add sugar to beaten eggs and mix well.
2. Incorporate remaining ingredients, adding flour sifted with baking powder last.
3. Spread in a shallow pan.
4. Bake in a slow oven.
5. Dust top with powdered sugar and cut into narrow strips while warm.
