SCOTCH DROPS

Ingredients:

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup butter
• 4 eggs
• 1 1/4 teaspoons soda, dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
• 1 cup molasses and syrup mixed
• 4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 lb raisins
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking tins.
3. Bake in a moderate oven.
