PEPPER NUTS

Ingredients:

• 5 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cups syrup
• 1/4 cup lard
• 2 teaspoons soda
• 1 teaspoon cloves
• 2 teaspoons cardamom
• 2 eggs

Instructions:

1. Heat all ingredients except eggs and flour until warm.
2. When cool, add eggs and flour.
3. Form into small balls and bake as directed.
