WHITE SUGAR COOKIES

Ingredients:

• 1 cup sugar
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 cup shortening
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

1. Mix sugar, flour, soda, and cream of tartar together like pie crust.
2. Beat eggs and add to the mixture, then stir in vanilla.
3. Roll out, sprinkle with sugar, and bake as directed.
