BAKED APPLE WITH LEMON

Ingredients:

• Tart apples
• Sugar
• Lemon juice
• Grated rind of lemon
• Meringue
• Sponge cake
• Whipped cream

Instructions:

1. Remove the cores from the apples and fill with sugar, lemon juice, and grated rind.
2. Bake until golden brown.
3. Cover the baked apples with meringue flavored with lemon and brown slowly.
4. Serve on slices of sponge cake with whipped cream.
