CLAXTON PUDDING

Ingredients:

• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 2 cups flour
• 1 scant cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 2 teaspoons baking powder

Sauce Ingredients:

• 1 pint water
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg

Instructions:

1. Mix all pudding ingredients and bake in a pudding dish.
2. For the sauce, boil water with butter. Stir flour with sugar and add to boiling water.
3. Boil, then stir in a well-beaten egg. Flavor as desired.
