CORN HOT DISH

  1. Butter a casserole dish and line the bottom with onions.
  2. Add a layer of potatoes, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour over a can of mashed corn.
  4. Place pork patties on top.
  5. Cover with tomatoes or tomato juice.
  6. Cover for the first half-hour of baking, then uncover and bake for about an hour in a moderate oven.
