BARBECUED SPARE RIBS

Instructions:

  1. Spread the ribs in a roasting pan, meatier side up. Place a thin slice of onion and lemon on each piece.
  2. Roast for 30 minutes in a 450°F oven.
  3. Bring the sauce ingredients to a boil.
  4. After 30 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 350°F and pour the hot sauce over the ribs.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, basting the ribs in the sauce every 15 minutes. Add more water if the sauce gets too thick.
