PECAN PIE

Ingredients:

• 3 eggs
• 1½ cups Karo syrup
• 1 tablespoon soft butter
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1 cup whole pecans
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

1. Mix all ingredients and pour into an unbaked pie shell.
2. Bake at 425°F for 10 minutes, then lower to 350°F and bake for 40 minutes.
3. If nuts brown too rapidly, cover the pie with another pie pan until done.
