ANGEL FOOD PIE

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Mix pineapple, cold water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Place in the top of a double boiler.
  3. When it reaches boiling point, add cornstarch dissolved in a little cold water.
  4. When the cornstarch is thoroughly cooked, set to cool.
  5. When cold, fold in beaten egg whites.
  6. Put in a baked pie shell and cover with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
