STUFFED PEPPERS

Instructions:

  1. Cut a slice from the stem end of each pepper and remove seeds.
  2. Parboil the peppers in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix finely chopped cooked meat with moistened bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and grated onion.
  4. Stuff the peppers with the mixture and place them in a dripping pan.
  5. Add water or stock to the pan and bake for 15 minutes, basting frequently.
  6. You can use cooked rice instead of the bread crumbs if desired.
