  1. Boil water and sugar for 5 minutes without stirring.
  2. Add 1 pint of berries and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add another pint of sugar and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add another pint of berries and boil for 11 minutes without stirring.
  5. Pour into glasses.
