  1. In a large bowl, mix flour and butter until it resembles cornmeal. Add yolks, liquor, and milk, mixing well.
  2. Shape dough into 100 balls and refrigerate for 12 hours.
  3. For the filling, fold powdered sugar and lemon rind into beaten egg whites, then add walnuts.
  4. Roll each ball flat, fill with walnut mixture, and fold over to seal.
  5. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350°F until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
