BUTTER RIFLE COOKIES

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp sugar and let rise.
  2. Mix butter, flour, and sugar. Add egg yolks and yeast mixture.
  3. Shape dough into 60 small balls and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Roll each ball, fill with walnut mixture, and shape into crescents.
  5. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden.
