SWEDISH COOKIES

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg yolks and mix well, then gradually blend in flour until dough forms.
  3. Take small amounts of dough and roll into small balls, then slightly flatten each one.
  4. Dip the top of each cookie in beaten egg white, then dip into ground walnuts.
  5. Place cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 10 dozen.
